What is death?

When a loved one transitions through the death tunnel a whole plethora of emotions arise for those left behind.

Grief for the physical loss of our loved one.

Shock at our soul’s recognition of our own mortality.

Anger that we didn’t get a chance to say goodbye.

Sadness that we didn’t tell them we loved them enough.

Isolated in an inner world of pain.

Missing the human connection to be able to reach out and know they are there.

Envy can also be a potent emotion – your loved one is on their next adventure and you are still dealing with the physical here.

When I was young I heard a story about death that impacted me greatly and in a positive way. It went something like this.

“In death, I have not gone completely. I have simply gone through a door into another room. And no, you cannot follow me there.

You can still talk to me. You can still love me. You can still hear my guidance and feel my love.

Please know – I have not gone away … I am right on the other side of that door.”

If you are grieving the loss of a loved one … many blessings and may this message ease your pain and bring comfort in the reality of death.
